Basking in the glory of the success of Nanban, Sathyan is excited that he’s got his hands full currently. He reveals that his next project is Thuppaki, where he plays a pivotal role as Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s childhood friend. He says that the role was offered to him by director A R Murugadoss after watching his performance during the Nanban shoot. “I signed up for Thuppaki before completing Nanban, as the associate producers of the film recommended my name to director A R Murugadoss, after watching shots of my performance in Nanban. I play a very pivotal role, one that is as important as the hero’s in the film,” he says excitedly.
