GLITTERY AUDIO LAUNCH IN COIMBATORE

The Nanban team chose Coimbatore as the venue for the mega audio launch. The audio of Vijay’s Velayudham was released in Madurai, which turned out to be a super hit.
Coimbatore will be witnessing the star-studded event this time round. The city is gearing up for the much awaited event. Most of the scenes of Nanban have been shot in Coimbatore. The event’s public relations person, Partiban, says, “Around 20,000 tickets have been sold, and we expect about 19,000 attendees, the audio launch of Nanban audio will see the entire cast of film present.

The audio launch will be followed by the Harris Jayaraj concert, which will feature more than 20 playback singers — one of the main pit stops of his world tour. Vijay is dropping in from an airborne capsule for the event, which will have spectacular psychedelic lighting and talented dancers. The event will be held at the Hindustan Arts and Science College grounds in Coimbatore.” Ardent Vijay fans have booked their tickets much in advance to get a glimpse of their favorite star. Dinesh, a passionate Vijay fan says, “I’ve been a Vijay fan ever since Kadhaluku Mariyaadhai and I’m so excited to be seeing him here in Coimbatore. The tickets were a bit expensive, but the 3D experience seems to be great and Coimbatore can finally witness so many stars on a single stage! I hope Nanban will be better than 3 idiots — with Shankar’s direction, it should be!”
