Thuppakki (Tamil: துப்பாக்கி) is an upcoming Tamilaction thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss, which will star Vijay as an encounter specialist, alongside Kajal Aggarwal. Featuring background score and soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography handled by Santhosh Sivan, the film is scheduled to release on 15 August 2012.
