Composer Harris Jayaraj has tuned a special friendship song for Nanban…

The Nanban teaser, with the song En Friend Pola Yaru Machan…, has come in for much praise and sources state that this particular number will be the highlight of the album that’s likely to release next week in a grand ceremony. This song, we understand, was specially done for the teaser and might feature as a montage song in the film.
A source says, “Special attention has been given by director Shankar and composer Harris Jayaraj on this song. It has a couple of English words in it as well and this is expected to strike a chord with the audiences, now that Kolaveri is a phenomenon over the world. As the film’s title
is Nanban, it’s only obvious that a friendship song would be featured in it as well.” We understand that there are a couple of other montage songs that will feature in the film that has Jiiva, Srikanth and Sathyaraj in important roles besides the Ilayathalapathy who is reprising Aamir Khans’s role in this Tamil version of 3 idiots.
While director Shankar has opted for the Mozart of Madras, A R Rahman, to compose for most of his films, he made an exception during Anniyan when the Oscar winner was busy with other projects. With Nanban, he joins hands again with Harris Jayaraj and the buzz about the music of this project has just gotten bigger over the last few days.
