Thuppakki is Vijay's most anticipated upcoming movie, under the direction of AR Murugadoss. In this movie, Vijay pairs up with Kajal Aggarwal, and the movie also has Sathyan, Jayaram and Vidyut Jamwal essaying important roles in it.

A little birdie close to the unit of Thuppakki, reveals that the shooting of the movie is almost complete, with the exception of just 2 songs, that the director is planning to film in locations near Thailand. The same source also reveals that the makers of Thuppakki, have decided to release the movie on Vijay's birthday this year, June 22.
